Liverpudlian singer/songwriter Jamie Webster delivers his own brand of working-class, folk-tinged rock & roll, telling stories of everyday life in a broad local accent.

Like most local lads from Liverpool, football and music is a pivotal part of life, yet not many have had their two passions collide to create something so special. Jamie Webster is the ascending music star from Liverpool who is straight from the football terraces and who writes stories and melodies about his life and the life of a million other young kids up and down the UK. This is why in such a short space of time he has already become the voice of the forgotten generation in Liverpool. Jamie opens with, “Every kid wants to be a footy player growing up. I was no different – but I always liked music and sang. So at 13-14 when I realised football wasn’t happening I thought I want to get into music big time. I just felt right to me.”

Webster picked up the acoustic guitar and started playing covers in pubs after work. He took to playing gigs on match days to large groups of fans, throwing in covers of songs associated with the club such as "You'll Never Walk Alone." He was also writing his own material, inspired by the likes of Bob DylanJohnny CashPaul WellerOasisKings of Leon, and hometown heroes like the BeatlesShack, and Cast. His big break came after he wrote a song based on the chant "Allez, Allez, Allez," set to the tune of an obscure '80s Italo disco track, which became a massive viral hit, culminating in his playing to 60,000 Liverpool fans in Madrid around an away match. This exposure, and a built-in sports fan base, allowed him to launch a proper music career.

Working with influential local producer Rich Turvey, they refashioned his songs to suit a full band and recorded them at the famous Parr Street Studios. Webster's first original single, 2019's "Weekend in Paradise," was an immediate hit, quickly racking up over 100,000 streams. Further popular singles followed, culminating in the release of his debut album We Get By in 2020. 2021 brought Live from Parr Street Studios and, later that year, the singles "Davey Kane," "Going Out," and "Days Unknown." All three tracks ultimately appeared on the Dave Eringa-produced sophomore studio LP Moments.
