"HYPNOTIZE" 20th Anniversary Tribute | performed by SYSTEM OF A DOWN UNDER

Following a massive tribute to "Mezmerize" in on 14 June 2025, SYSTEM OF A DOWN UNDER continue their 20TH ANNIVERSARY celebrations of System Of A Down's blistering 2005 double album year, cranking up "HYPNOTIZE" at AMPLIFIER BAR on SATURDAY 15 NOVEMBER, performing the album in full including "Hypnotize”, “Lonely Day”, "Soldier Side" and "Vicinity of Obscenity", plus a selection of SOAD favs!

With special guests FISTFUL OF STEEL and FRYMUS bringing the best of RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE and PRIMUS.

"The whole world's gone crazy over the past couple of years, so that's brought out a lot of emotions and affected our songwriting," stated guitarist Daron Malakian to Rolling Stone. "But when we looked at all the songs we had and arbitrarily tried to choose 'the best' 14 for one album, we realized we had two album's worth of really great songs, and that they all connected with each other." The Armenian-American quartet switch styles, from explosive heavy metal to ornate prog rock to Balkan folk with the speed of an impatient channel-hopper, but their sonic hyperactivity is engineered to serve their message: Attack is an anti-war song that sounds like war; Tentative's shock-and-awe riffs relent long enough for Daron Malakian to croon, "Where do you expect us to go when the bombs fall?"
