After over two decades at the forefront of metal and hardcore, inspiring a generationof fans and artists alike, New York metallic hardcore heroes Stray From The Path have announced their final ever Australian tourthis August. The news follows the band’s surprise drop of their latest and last album 'Clockworked' via Sharp Tone Records, revealed as their swansong to a legacy that will not be forgotten. Joining them on their last lap of the country will be first-time-visitors Orthodox (USA).
Over their two decades, Stray From The Path have achieved a kind of longevity rarely seen in hardcore. With each successive release and countless shows andtours across the globe, members Tom Williams (guitar), Drew Dijorio (vocals), Anthony Altamura (bass) and Craig Reynolds (drums) have evolved the band into a behemoth of groove-laden, metallic hardcore riffing and hip hop-influenced vocal cadences. Across the years, the band embraced their position as an opportunity to plant seeds for change in an increasingly dark socio-political climate, and playing to ever-growing crowds of young music fans is a responsibility they've never taken lightly.Their discography and live show speak volumes, and with 'Clockworked' they leave on a high-furious, vital, and true to themselves.
